I have to call some people out
1. My sister. You guys, she got into a great grad school and will be studying public health. Look at her, being all accomplished and making significant, real-world change. Hooray for my sister! She is is so awesome!
2. Hillary at P-Mag. You guys, she writes such good science stuff. That lady knows what she is talking about and she talks about it well. You go, lady, you go!
3. Soon-to-be-Dr. Sciencegirl. You guys, literally one of the best people on the internet. Fun, engaging, caring, principled, strong, smart-as-all-get-out. She is a super scientist and a super person.
Anyway, I just had to get that out of my system. Sorry for any embarrassment this may have caused. I also apologize in advance for embarrassing the rest of you at some yet to be determined date.
I’m blushing so hard right now. Thank you so much! I feel like such a hack compared to you sometimes; you really don’t know what this means to me. (Vaguely compromising my super-sekrit identity but I don’t care because this is one of the nicest things anyone’s ever said about me.)
